Dear fellow students of the Buddha,
The Buddha's Birthday season returns to students of the Buddha all over the five continents. That joy is expressed everywhere with our sincerest hearts to offer to our teacher. As we celebrate together, expressing gratitude to the Buddha who appeared in the world, bringing the radiant truth and teachings to the universe. The Truc Lam Monastery will respectfully hold a ceremony to commemorate Buddha's Birthday as follows:

09:00 am - Meditate and recite the Dhammapada Sutra
11:00 - Ancestors Offering
11:30 - Mindful Lunch
2:00 pm - Dharma talk
03:30 - Evening Offering Ceremony
05:30 - Dinner
07:00 pm - Chanting and Candlelight offering
08:30 - Dharma talk

06:00 am - Meditation and Prostrations
10:30 - Official Buddha's Birthday Commemoration Ceremony (with separate program)
01:00 pm - Activities and Buddha bathing ceremony for children (English)
We invite fellow Buddhist practioners and friends from near and far to attend our events.
On this occasion, we would also like to share with those in difficult sisituation.
Please contribute dry and canned food to the "Food Bank". We will start receiving donations at Truc Lam Monastery from May 8 to May 31.
The practice and blessings of each of us, are noble offerings to the World-Honored One on His Birthday. Wishing you and your family peace, happiness and joy during this Vesak season.
