Announcements for Summer Retreats 2025
Dear Community,
The Monastery would like to share with you our upcoming schedule for this summer’s retreats at Westlock Meditation Center & Truc Lam Monastery.
July 7-8: Kids Retreat at Truc Lam Monastery (only for local youths)
*Please register through email khoatu@truclam.ca. Please place in the subject "Kids Retreat"
July 10-14: Young Adults Retreat (ages 18-35)
July 17-21: Family Retreat (ages 7-17 + parents)
August 1-10: Short Term Monastic Retreat (open for all ages)
August 9 @ 8 pm: Candlelight Vigil Ceremony
August 10 @ 11 am: Parents' Day Celebration
If you are planning to attend any of the retreats, please click on the "Retreats" tab on our menu to register.
Notices:

The retreat will be open only to lay practitioners.

Priority will be given to those who can attend the full duration of the retreat.

For those attending only the weekend or the Ullambana Ceremony (August 9–10), you may bring your own tent (as arranged by the Monastery) or stay at hotels in Westlock town.
